Hidhide Issue? Box automatically unchecks

Ive noticed for some people when they check the box to enable hidhide if they press done and go back into it it will be unchecked, but in some videos it stays checked, for me personally i turn it on, refresh, hit done, then if i go back into the menu its unchecked and i believe that has something to do with hidhide not working when mapping the controller, some kind of hotfix for this would be ideal and i believe it would solve alot of other ppls issues.
