Wii Les Paul w/ RetroCult Adapter - Many notes dropping/not reading

I have gotten my guitar showing up in game, and all notes press down correctly, but either strumming is extremely strict or there is a problem with the strum bar, will also note that the strum bar pulls up the emote wheel but unsure if that's an issue or not.
