RCM adapters aren't getting detected

they show as a xbox 360 controller and then dont work inside fortnite Edit: even after programming it to HID mode fortnite still doesnt detect inputs from it, yes i have developer mode enabled and am on the latest version of UNMODIFIED windows 11
