Internet not working on startup unless VPN app is launched and connection is toggled

Hi, I’m encountering an issue with InvisibleMan XRay Client on Windows 11.

The problem is that when I start my computer, I have no internet access — the Wi-Fi icon shows connected, but there is no actual network access.

The only workaround I’ve found is to: 1. Launch the InvisibleMan VPN app; 2. Turn the VPN connection on and then off again.

After doing that, the internet starts working normally.

I believe the virtual network adapter created by the app may be interfering with the default routing or adapter priority at boot time.

Could you please look into this?

Let me know if you need any logs or system info.

Thanks!

I managed to fix it. In Windows 11, in the network and Internet settings ---> Proxy server ---> Proxy settings manually, you need to turn off proxying and turn off the VPN, the browser will work. In order for the VPN to work again, you need to enable proxying in the settings and then turn on the VPN. (my VPN mode uses a Proxy, if you have the same instructions above, it should help)

You correctly noted that this can solve the problem. When a vpn(proxy) is enabled, data proxying via system proxies is enabled. If the program is not terminated correctly, the proxy will not be turned off. To avoid this, shut down the program correctly. Turn off the vpn, then the PC
