This is what I've done in order to accomplish the same thing in the current version of Proxyshop (without the changes in this pull-request).

I honestly don't know which approach is preferable. Up to you to decide :)

I've tested both approaches, and they both work, so it doesn't really matter to me.

Closing this as the feature has been added to the modular-rewrite branch which will be folded into 1.2.0 :)
