Direction of the script seems exciting! Few ideas here

For example for media timeline I'd want to choose show only images, or show only videos, or only gifs.
Like at Tumblr archive view. Or similar that is at Tumbex.
Replies, comments, reposts ---- text only posts, link only posts. Users could customize their own liking.
Gifs to mp4? Gifs these days are mostly memes. Rarely people post video as gifs anymore.
Gridded masonry is nice for media timeline, when open image or video all reaction buttons should be there: repost, comment, like, bookmark, share, download. Also would be good to let people choose grid or not, or maybe even size?
Very interesting and exciting extension you're making. Seems like there might be a bit of a buzz of new extensions coming as since Elon Twitter's new form begins to shape up.

But on/off different post types should be quite simple with post type aria labels.
