[Feature Request] improved ladder climbing

the ladders are one of, if not the most awkward thing to use in SS1, and anything that would somehow make them more tolerable would be very welcome.

again, copying what SS2 has would be ok (touch to attach, use movement keys to go up or down, and jump or crouch to detach), or anything else but the jumpy, jerky potato stunt you need to perform each time you have to climb one.
