Is it necessary to set folder and file permissions to 777 on groupofficedata?

Hi, I noticed that files and folders in this project require 777 permissions to work properly. Is it really necessary to leave them at 777, or is there a more secure way to set permissions while still ensuring functionality?

No it's recommended to set the owner to the user PHP or the webserver runs with.
