D555 compress raw data SDK
When I use the Ethernet port of the D555 camera for data transmission and set the resolution of RGB and depth to 1280x720, I notice that its bandwidth usage reaches approximately 750 Mbps. Is there an SDK available that can compress the raw data on the camera side?
Hi @GLW1215 Whilst there is not a compression mechanism for live streaming of data, you could likely reduce bandwidth if you could lower the FPS speed to 15.
A future camera firmware update will add a delay parameter for D555 PoE to make possible the setting of a lower MTU value than 9000, which will reduce the data transfer rate.
