Updates are not always installed correctly
- It doesn’t seem to check if it can overwrite itself (which it can’t if the user installed a DEB or RPM build)
- It downloads the wrong asset on Linux.
Same here... after last update can't find OpenLoco and RCT2 files...

That is completely unrelated and by design. The binaries are now installed in a different location, so you’ll have to install them again. Your own files and settings will still be there, though.
Where? Mine are installed:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\OpenLoco\bin
C:\Users\user\Documents\OpenRCT2\bin
Not any more. The launcher will now put them in:
- C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\OpenLoco\bin
- C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\OpenRCT2\bin
It just won’t remove them at the old location, but you can remove these yourself.
Point 2 should have been addressed with ca5dc12daf0cd1c8a330e2f62a3ea596d2a6acf9.
