Ok, thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the problem. The inf values must have been introduced when I clipped the raster to upload it...

@jfbourdon thank you, you are right, the NaNs were the problem. @jblindsay will the updated tool also handle numpy inf values? I've noticed that the breach_depressions_least_cost tool adds inf values...
