Activating Smart Things Lighting Scenes Do Not Trigger First Press

I have set up a few lighting scenes that I found do not trigger the first time I activate them from the light switch.

For example, if I have a “Smart Lighting” automation set up within SmartThings that triggers one hue light to turn on when button one is held (on an inverted switch), the first time I click the switch nothing happens. If it click the switch again a second or so after, then the hue light is turned on.

It seems like the switch needs to be woken up before it can trigger zwave automations, because it ALWAYS works the second time.

I noticed this issue on (2) red series dimmers running the 1.4 firmware.

@Pi1grim I've had the same issue. Have you found any solutions?
