Using this EFI file + Monterey 12.6.6 combo, but can't complete the boot installation

Thanks for the EFI file about HP 840 G3, but I am not able to boot the installation using the EFI file you provided + Monterey 12.6.6; The progress bar can only go a fraction of the way before a reboot occurs, I'm trying to install Apply for the first time, can you give me some advice? Or am I missing something?

Hi @Ethan-tao3 are your bios settings the same as in the read me?

hi @Innoxious Thank you for your reply, I checked the BIOS Settings and only one item, "Configure Legacy Support and Secure Boot," needed to be adjusted; And I also adjusted to the same options as you; Beyond that, my current suspicion is that there is a slight difference in cpu models; Your cpu is i7 6600U, and mine is: I7-6500U CPU; I don't know if that's what caused it;

In addition, Do I need to add any additional files when using the EFI file you provided? Also, where did you get your system image, whether you can provide a download link,Avoid boot failures due to different mirrors.

I think your CPU should be okay with this EFI. Please refer to the official OpenCore documentation, which explains where to source the macOS installer. I used the Python script. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/windows-install.html#downloading-macos

When I installed Monterey it took 2 hours. I think everything is encrypted and takes a long time.

Maybe the video memory is too low. Check it, need it almost 64mb of shared memory.
