SRTP protect: replay check failed (index too old)

I have this issue in Asterisk on Video Calls:

res_srtp.c:508 ast_srtp_protect: SRTP protect: replay check failed (index too old)

Do you have a idea?

From what I remembered, the reason for the error is because Asterisk implemented the following: https://www.asterisk.org/improving-video-quality-in-the-real-world/

I also could not fix or improve on this (I have switched my approach to peer-to-peer and it works fine).

I would raise this issue with the Asterisks community. It appears to be some sort of incompatibility between the way Asterisks is performing this NACK behaviour and Chrome. I don’t think there is a way to disable it.

If you come right with Joshua please let me know, I would be very interested. (I have already raised the topic, but it didn’t go anywhere.)
