When deciding to use/contribute to an InnerSource solution vs. build your own thing, what are the tradeoffs? Oftentimes teams will only look at how much effort to get the MVP of functionality and conclude that "build your own thing" is the better choice. However, when expanding the view to the cost of maintenance, upgrade and cost to other teams at the company, InnerSource becomes the winner.
