Design levels to engage people in an ISPO Community

Open tfroment opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

In the context of an ISPO deployment, we experimented with a company-wide approach to engaging InnerSource members:

  • We have to share a workshop of progression design in the community of developers and contributors to the Inner Source program (which can be more or less gamified according to the company culture)

Behind this challenge lies a major challenge of an ISPO: to generate a collective dynamic and commitment in the logic of a community in order to promote serendipity, strengthen the network of members contributing to the Inner Source, detect and retain the best talents, and motivate sponsors.

We could start by some material we already use in real situations, and we are ready to share in Open Source (under CC-BY-4.0 license) e.g.: image

This is great, @tfroment. This looks like it could be a pattern.

Thanks for your feedback @rrrutledge : since I already have a"ready to use" workshop to design engagement levels, I thought it was more something to be shared through the ispo wg, but I agree this is not fully clear in my mind when it should be a pattern and when it should be shared here

Sharing here is you have something ready works, too. Our first task is just to get a bunch of content out here.
