[Feature request] implement Android TV Channels API

Is it a large lift to add the current what's new feed to the Android TV Channels API via https://developer.android.com/training/tv/discovery/recommendations-channel ? This is the main way the dispatch launcher finds content.

I don't have a smart TV so there is no plan to support it, but I will keep the issue here in case anyone has interest.

If new pipe adds support for that API, would you be more likely to pull those change into pipepipe, or have the code bases diverged to the point that wouldn't be a useful reference?

I haven't used any of the android tv apis but may look into what it takes to add this feature.

Yeah it wouldn't be very helpful as we diverged too much, especially if it is UI related.
