Describe the bug

In a playlist, if you switch videos without finishing playing the current video, when you return to that video, playback resumes from the beginning rather than from the timecode where you left off.

Frequency

Always (100% of the time)

Device

Pixel 4A

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Start a playlist.
  2. At timecode MM:SS, skip to the next video.
  3. Then return to the previous video.

Expected behavior: The video resumes at timecode MM:SS. What happens: The video resumes from the beginning.

This error did not occur in version 4.7.4.

Additional context

No response

There are multiple problems I m facing with enqueued/playlisted videos.

  1. I switch to some other app, and come back, tried to click the play button to bring back the video it wil randomly starts from the previous video.
  2. When the I come back to enqueued videos, the hit play, it will start from the previous video randomly and enque list disappears (judging from no next and prev buttons visible after recovering wrong video from bg.)
  3. No visual indicator of which video of playlist/enqueued is playing, and what's comes next.
  4. On multiple occasions it will mess up the resume and current played progress.
