An alternative solution to making this text multi-line or cutting it of in a clean way with the three dots character would be to shorten the string. The german translation string directly follows the english string. Because the label of the selection field for the version detection already says "version detection", I think it would be enough to say "Release date" (releaseDateAsVersion), "Standard" (standardVersionDetection) and "None" (noVersionDetection) in the English app string and the translations. In my opinion, this would still be easy to understand and save a lot of characters in the referenced part of the UI so that a fix may not be required.
