Impact makes the screen go black but still run

When I launch Impact and join a random experience (whether it's singleplayer or multiplayer), the screen freezes but I still can interact with things and hear the background like players moving. It's just my screen is frozen. And when I Alt+Tab and get back to the game, the screen is completely black. It doesn't crash, it's just frozen and goes black

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install Impact normally
2. Start playing
3. Playing for a few minutes and the screen is frozen but still can interact with things
