colorpicker - can't change hue before changing val/sat first

Not sure if it's an SDL2 dependent issue, but it is bugging me.

I can not change the hue before value/saturation is changed for some reason.

We are heavily out of time to look at this yet there was some issue with color picker and a certain backend in the past IIRC. Feel free to dive into it (should be pretty straightforward) and submit a PR.

All and any contributions are very much welcome!
