Reduce/hide menus

Occasionally I am asked to connect to composite teleprompters, which is one of the reasons for choosing the Raspberry pi. However since it is limited to either HDMI or composite, the interface occupies considerable screen real estate at 480p composite. Can the menus be collapsed/hidden/resized?

Which menus in particular do you think should be collapsible or hidden? Are you referring to the interface in edit mode or in a prompter mode?

In edit mode, most menus are collapsible by pressing the Gear icon.

In prompter mode, You can have the prompter cover the entire screen by using the External Prompter instead of the In-frame Prompter. If there's only one display to output to, the External Prompter will prompt on the same display and cover the editor.

Although it is possible to remove the top bar from the In-frame prompter, we decided not to do so, to keep the software easy to use.

Interface in edit mode... perhaps an auto hide feature like Windows' or Linux's taskbar? The challenge comes up when working in composite only on thr Raspberry pi since its limited to one output, editing is restricted to the lower half of the screen area. Not a high priority since less people are using composite monitors as time goes on...
