Components to be made next

First of all, to be clear, this isn't exactly an issue.

This is for deciding which controls to make next. I wanted to give everyone insight on what there is left to be made and a space for discussion. Idealistically this would be all controls specified in Google's Material Design document. However I think we should start with the most important ones for desktop usage.

The ones I find would be most useful to have are (not in particular order):

Personally, listview and multi-line text field are the ones I would like to see the most. Combobox would be a nice addition too.

You should add floating action button. And you should make checkboxes better quality. And you should add progressbar. For more resources go and check polymer project.

I vote for DataGridView. Would love to see how that looks like in material design.

Google has updated their design specifications. This update included some interesting additions like the Data tables, which would be really nice to have for desktop usage.

Will there be an update soon? 9 months ago since last real update it seems

StephanBis avatar Nov 04 '15 10:11 StephanBis

@StephanBis There have been updates meanwhile, but it's true that MaterialSkin isn't actively developed anymore. I see it as a secondary project right now because I have other things that require my focus (Android apps, school, ..). I also rarely code in C# lately and I haven't made a WinForms project ever since I created MaterialSkin.
