Is there a percentage value of how much a website has already been loaded?
Typically, a webbrowser shows the loading-progress on top of the window. E.g. in the qtWebEngine, this loading-progress has been accessable in a float variable, which enables the developer to create a nice looking progress bar. Is there a possiblity for the cog-webbrowser as well? As far as I have seen, I am able to access the loading-states like "Load started.", "Loading..." and "Loaded successfully.". Is there a more fine-grained solution? Any help would be highly appreciated.
Do you mean a UI addition showing the loading progress? For which platform backend? Maybe for the GTK4 backend that would make sense, but for the others, I doubt it.
Correct, a UI addition showing the loading progress would enhance the user experience a lot. At the moment, the user clicks on a button of a website and nothing happens during the loading time, no immediate response. Another option would be to make the loaing progress accessable at least. This would enable developers to add a progress bar by themself, if needed. What do you think? In my case, cog is running with weston.
