  • Add typescript support
  • Change from webpack to babel to transpile typescript code to javascript
  • Update dependencies
  • Update workflows to work with new scripts added
  • Update .ignore files

Hi @tarunmangukiya @bez4pieci @aravindballa @Eddie-CooRo we are wondering if we can get an update to this package, it looks like it's no longer maintained. Since this is used by over 3k repositories, would any of you be able to help close these PRs and release a new version with TypeScript support and the dependabot updates? If none of you have time, could you allow for someone else to help maintain this project? I would not mind contributing as a maintainer for the next release. Thanks!
