Multi-level folders & categories

Instead of making each subfolder a subcollection, shouldn't be better to mirror multi-level directories deep? So that it can be browsed with the same multi-level folder structure on the left panel? I f I want to have a collection for each subfolder instead I could just create a collection for each subcollection. Also it would be useful to have categories for icons that are transversal to directory paths,

Ya makes sense. What could be done is, instead of each sub-folder being a collection, we could derive sub-folder's actions from its root parent.

I think so, so that for each collection a root folder is specified. What do you exactly mean by "sub-folders actions"? I know there is a mouse context menu.. but to be sure.
