Gentoo support?

Is there any interest in supporting gentoo, particularly gentoo with openrc (as opposed to systemd)? I'd be happy to contribute, but first I need to know if this is important to the maintainers.

Hello

Gentoo is not part of the "main" distributions that Icinga supports( as can be seen on here ).

The community does have Gentoo repositories and it would be beneficial to have more supported distro's in this playbooks. My main concern is that our tests currently do not support Gentoo and thus the code might not pass those. If you can make sure it will pass the tests, I will review it and there is a very high probability that we will incorporate it.

There are gentoo packages for icinga2. If you are looking for support for openrc based systems, feel free to check out my projects ;)
