how to remove quotation from input string ?

Hi. How can I to remove quotation from input word of GoogleNews.get_news(word)? or pass the word without of quotation ? because when I search with and without quotation ; I got the different result. In fact, I want the results without quotation because with quotes it gives much more accurate results; And sometimes the results are an empty list. While searching for the same word in Google without quotes; It returns me many results. thankyou
