User editable tag formatting?

Hi, thanks very much for the template it looks great.

One small thing I'd like to do - I use tags extensively and use them to organise my content by embedding {{topic>tag name}} snippets in pages (and my sidebar).

With this template these lists are rendered in tables with each entry bullet pointed as shown in this screenshot.

I'd love to be able to simplify this formatting, can you suggest how I could do that?

Is it possible to remove either the table border or the bullet points? Maybe even both?
