open providers.json: no such file or directory

I am facing this error but i did not change the providers.json directory or nothing. I installed the tool and tried to run it and got that error.

in ubuntu this is ~/go/src/github.com/Ice3man543/SubOver

for windows go to C:\Users\username\go\src\github.com\Ice3man543\SubOver and copy the providers.json to your current directory you are running subover

Try providing execution permission to providers.json file. It worked for me

Workaround You should copy the file in the current path where you are running subover command.
