Contributing to the tailwindCSS gem

Hello, I would love to make my first OSS contribution to this gem. As this would be my first, I would appreciate any tips/guidance. I would like to update the version of tailwindCSS as I was working on a project and wondering why some classes aren't working and then saw that the gem is at 1.0.3 and a lot has been added since then.
