not extracting code files

i don't know if it's supposed to but every time I try to extract a mod the code files don't appear

As far as I can remember, developer can choose to not to embed source code files in to the mod. In any case, there will be .dll file. And you have to use .NET Reflector, ILSpy, dnSpy or even ildasm if you want to look inside.
