[9.1.0] No boot, No Charge

Open omgprod opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

Hi there !

My problem is:

  • Update Atmosphere with atmosphere-updater
  • Press the reboot to rcm
  • and finally getting a never restart

After this I try to fix with:

  • Restart the switch by holding POWER button ( 10, 20, 30 )
  • try to charge directly ( nothing app ) & charge by dock ( light pop green only 1 second)
  • try to replace Amosphere, and Sept folder in SDCard
  • try to boot without SD Card

If you have any solution or need more information ;)

Thank's.

Never use atmosphere-updater, it messes up everything. Backup all your data, and start from scratch and uses the latest atmosphere. Inject the latest fusee payload through hekate

Hi there! Can you tell me:

  • what firmware version you was on
  • what previous atmosphere version you are on

Also, you say that you’ve now tried updating manually and it doesn’t work for you. Are you injecting the latest fusee primary payload version from the atmosphere repo?

Hi, can you please explain what issues you were having with the app?

Whenever I use atmosphere-updater my switch would also experience the same problem, resulting having to start from scratch. The first time was on 8.1.0, atmosphere version 0.9.3/4 and I had the latest fusee payload, if I didn't change to kosmos then I wouldn't have gotten anywhere. The second time was atmosphere 0.10.1 I wanted to update to before going to 9.0.0 and same thing but I started everything from scratch this time

Thanks for giving the fw / ams versions. What's strange is that I am also on fw 8.1.0 and I use my app to update ams version everytime. All the app does is download the latest ams.zip and extract it, which is why I am a little confused as to why it's not working for you. I am trying the app now and it still works 😕

I'll try an reproduce this problem on my end so that i can fix it.
