Install issues
I'm trying to follow the simple install instructions on a new laptop, but they don't quite work. How do I get past this? Thanks
~/Library » kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFHOME
/Users/garyking/Library/texmf
~/Library » cd texmf
cd: no such file or directory: texmf
Hmm, the documentation is a little sparse, sorry about that!
I think you just need to create your texmf directory, e.g.,
mkdir -p $(kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFHOME)/tex/latex
then copy the files there, e.g.,
git clone [email protected]:IQSS/iqss-beamer-theme.git
cp iqss-beamer-theme/*.sty $(kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFHOME)/tex/latex/
cp iqss-beamer-theme/header* $(kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFHOME)/tex/latex/

actually, it (predictably) complained about the absence of LibertinusMath fonts. I followed the instructions and installed them (and the fontbook says installed) but xelatex can't find them. any suggestions? thanks
I think this a known problem with a work-around documented in https://github.com/IQSS/iqss-beamer-theme/issues/21 . I haven't been able to look into it because I don't have a mac :-(
