sun goes through terrain, weird fog underground

the sun/moon goes through the terrain when using the mod, underground fog also looks messed up like the middle just gets cut off and it doesnt transition well

This is affecting me as well; the sun shines right through distant terrain.

Small followup; after some testing it seems like it's actually chunks fade in that's causing this, not fog (which I think just makes this problem a lot more obvious, rather than causes it).

Setting the Chunks Fade In fog type to spherical fixes this problem for me (and this issue is even mentioned in the tooltip for that option!)
