Menu bar extremely squished

For whatever reason, the text on the menu bar is all squished together. Already tried changing fonts and stuff, didn't help. image

What Windowmanager are you using?

I would love to try and reproduce this in a VM . .

I'm using the latest version of GNOME on Xorg and Qt 5.13.0.
