Thanks a lot for providing the API, this is a great resource!

Unfortunately it is currently always returning a 503 error triggered by the Cloudflare protection.

I do not know whether this is a temporary or structural issue, but it might be worthwhile to consider setting up a Page Rule in your Cloudflare protection to exclude the API. You can enforce fair use of the API based on the Private/Public key so this should not impose much of a threat.

It has been a while, but I believe that I got it to work eventually by running my code on another network (i.e. my home network instead of my work network). I do not know whether they fixed the problem yes / no, I haven't tried it since.

Dear website owner,

Please stop using CloudFlare. You're doing it wrong. It's not a protection but surveillance.
