Poor performance

Reported from dev advocacy in Tokyo:

The response takes more than 1 minute. (Tested with Watson API in Tokyo). Please investigate.

I am using the Dallas region, and see response times < 5 seconds. Have you seen similar response latency for Watson Assistant and Speech to Text, for example with the Speech Sandbox Cardboard app?

Here's the network profile using Google Chrome View-> Developer -> Developer Tools and looking at the Network tab:

Can you please try that, so we can get an idea if it is all the services that are lagging, or just one?

This is still terribly slow (deployed w/ CF) and kind of bad to use.
