hmm, I am not sure if we should want to open this 'box of pandora', is this something you would like to look into for the paper?

IMAGE can report this, GLOBIOM and MAgPIE also I assume, but I would guess GCAM and AIM cannot. for IMAGE we need to check if residues for livestock feed are properly reported. also we have a kind of rest-category called 'scavenging'. what feed categories do you have in magpie?

There is no specific need for this variable. But if we see larger differences between models, forage might be the reason. MAgPIE could report Forage demand, production and area.
