Transform error: Could not find a connection between 'map' and 'arm1'

I am trying to run RViz, then I receive the error, Transform error: Could not find a connection between 'map' and 'arm1' because they are not part of the same tree.Tf has two or more unconnected trees.

I checked for, rosrun tf view_frames and my tf looks like this, frames.pdf

And I don't visualize the point cloud properly in RViz but just as a group of white clouds. pointclouds

what could be reason for the error?

I could create maps with TUM_Simualator but when I use the real AR.Drone 2.0 i am facing this issue.

@kungfrank So you're assuming the tf tree should be connected as long as one moves around enough ang get a good scale? It doesnt seem to help me
