Attributes' input fields should be clearly highlighted when a new object is created
Description
What is the valuable outcome that cannot be achieved because of this bug?
It can be difficult for a user creating a new item to see where to enter the information, and which attribute he needs to fill in. The aim would be to make the fields to be filled in more clearly highlighted and to change the attribute "name" into "inventory number" (not clear when migrating to the tool).
For which stakeholder (people, role, project, domain) is it important?
Every user creating a new item on the website and every user considering the "name" field of an item.
Reproduction scenario
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to 'https://vases.porphyry.org/'
- Click on the "+" next to the catalog's title.
- See the unclear display of what the user need to fill in to create an article.
- The attribute "name" (defined during the tool's migration) is also not clear (the value represent the vase's inventory number).
Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. Being able to easily see where to fill in the needed information to create a new item, and which field are mandatory. Have explicit mandatory attributes' name.
Environment
- OS: Windows 11
- Browser: Edge 99
Workaround
Solution you found to avoid the problem.
- UI redesign : move the attribute's setting part to the center of the page, highlight the left part of the page, ... when creating a new item.
- Change the name of mandatory attributes when creating a new item to a clearer one.
