HyDE Hyprland not working on CachyOS [lastest]
Description
At first installation, I installed cachyos with KDE Plasma and then installed HyDE project, but after rebooting it does show HyDE's sddm theme but on logging in through Hyprland (uswm-managed) or just Hyprland, the theming doesn't work instead I found out that installed Hyprland is the one which comes with CachyOS. It sounds weird and it is in fact weird because I didn't opt for Catchy's Hyprland installation. On the occurrence of this failure, I tried second time with no Desktop Environment installation of CachyOS, just like what we do for Arch, from the cachyos minimal installation and CLI environment, I installed HyDE Hyprland and the thing was same. Instead of HyDE Hyprland, Cachy's Hyprland got installed.

This sounds like a CachyOS thing defaulting the hyprland package to use their own repos instead of arch. You can try commenting out the CachyOS repo from Pac-Man before installing. It might get overridden on an update though if you re-add it
yeah,
or check output of echo $HYPRLAND_CONFIG
These didn't work, I did a clean Cachyos installation and tried by commenting those Cachyos repos, it now throws me pipewire related errors.
Did a full system upgrade and tried, still the same issue. Uncommented the cachy repos and did an upgrade, but still the same.

Did all that without checking this? https://github.com/HyDE-Project/HyDE/issues/1339#issuecomment-3369529910
