That is most likely because it downloads ffmpeg and other things, at your request (click). There really is nothing it does that is harmful.

Here's hoping that you have time to institute this setting! Thank you for the plugin. I consider it essential.

I have the same issue. png localization does not work automatically. This includes running the command to download images manually.
