Not logged in, not logged out, somewhere in between

After being logged in for a long time, when the session is maybe timed out, the homepage displays Register/Join Anmelden/Beitreten which indicates that I'm not logged out.

At the same time, use content is displayed which indicates that I'm logged in.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. I'm not sure how to reproduce it. Try having the browser open all day doing nothing
2. reload the page (note the page loading did not complete correctly in the screenshot)

Expected behavior Either show Register/Join and no content, or don't show Register/Join and content.

FF 62.0.2 same bug. After clicking on it, it disappears for a timespan.
