How to add a custom website?
Hi, Anecdote is an app I've waited for a very long time but unfortunately I'm having a hard time to add a custom website because of little HTML knowledge.
Would really appreciate a small beginner guide on how to do this. :)
I managed to get an error 404, I want to add the choualbox.com website. URL is okay, selector is okay, but page not found. There is no page, you can browse since the root of the website but the app want that i write down a page. I can do a guide, i'm pretty used to, but i need some help before
@4urelienjo you can try with https://choualbox.com/?page= as the url. I don't think you will get the full images/video it need to open one page to get the data on it. It can be done but need some work and I have other functionallity on the top of the list.
Ok I will try with a bunch of sites that i see in google play comments, and i will come back to you. Very nice work for 9gag VDM etc ;)

hey there, sorry for that :/ I did not priorize it over other project. If you now some code I can show you the configuration file so you can setup your site on your and, give me it and I'll publish it.
Sorry i totally forgot this !! Yeah I know .Net, JS, HTML, Python, a little bit angular2 and java.
I'm busy with work until wednesday, but i use your app daily, so it would be nice if i could take part in your project !

well, this summer I hope. I've finally back to improve Anecdote with some new features coming every month. Stay tuned ;)
Hi Sirove, Sorry for the lack of improvement. I've put the beta in production this morning but I dnd't bring the tutorial. My priority is not on improving Anecdote right now, we'll see if this change in the coming month but the community can still make a PR.

I tried adding VDM and xkcd using the settings from the json to understand what's needed; without any luck.
VDM and kxcd are already available. I'm sorry if it not very convenient, I'll try to make a new app + some tools around it to improve that in the coming year.
