Temporality of IFrame across HubSpot
Currently, the IFrame is abruptly killed when navigating to another page. The ability to retain the IFrame when navigating around HubSpot would ease the amount of work the soft phone needs to do when it is initialized in order to get set up in time for an outbound call to take place. Resolving this issue would greatly reduce load times and provide greater support for inbound call functionality.
Users are alerted of Navigating when a call is active to avoid dropping calls. Various features in the HubSpot app require page navigation that result in unloading the iFrame. We don't have a way around this right now, but we will look into some way to reducing the page navigations in the app.
Hey, I am learning and trying the integration of a phone on Hubspot, is it possible to implement it using pop-up's? This could avoid the issue on reloading the iframe but I don't know if it is possible or a feasible solution. I am a newbie junior developer entering the world of CRM development. @xvlcekp, we kicked off our public beta this week! Developers must complete the steps to enable inbound calling within HubSpot, and any customer can opt in to the new dialer through their portal.
