Rest client ceased to work

I am using rest client for few years. suddenly it stopped to function on one of my machines . I disabled all other plugins - still does not work. I updated vs code. Reinstalled client few times - no results. Tries .http and .rest extensions - does not work. I removed vs code and reinstalled - same

• REST Client Version: More Info Last released 8/19/2022, 17:24:34 Identifier humao.rest-client
• VSCode Version: 1.79.2
• OS Version: windows 2019

Steps to Reproduce:

1. start vs code
2. open any rest of http file - you do not have option to run request - send request link is missing

Hi @Huachao , I encountered this problem today when I uninstalled and installed the plugin again. I am missing the "Send Request" link, however, it forced me to look up the keyboard shortcut (CTRL+ALT+R) which ultimately works.

The connection was rejected. Either the requested service isn’t running on the requested server/port, the proxy settings in vscode are misconfigured, or a firewall is blocking requests. Details: RequestError: connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:3001.
