The committee is thrashing a little bit on design details and I'm holding release until that settles. I anticipate a few more days delay, sorry.

I'm actually in a meeting right now, and attempting to damp down on the thrashing. Got a little more to go.

There is a lot of issues on tag v2.4.1 that has been fixed on master. a) BUILD_SHARED_LIBS is not handled properly so doesnt expose the defines DATE_BUILD_DLL and DATE_USE_DLL b) AUTOLOAD variable in cmake is not used at all.

Would be nice to release at least 2.4.2 to fixed these, because people out there are hacking around these fixes.

I am porting this into the gentoo tree and would appreciate if you can make a release with a newer version. Thanks a lot for your work, its a really nice library :smile_cat:
