Is this project dead? i see last commits are 2 years back

Version 1.0.0-beta is no longer supported. ==> what is the reason it is not supported? buggy code? or not a production friendly?

Version 2 is currently under development ==> i have seen the current UI of version 2 and i must say it is not looking good, infact version 1 is better.

also we are an IT company and would like to contribute to the code, nodejs, react is our primary stack and over 10 years of experience, we can fix many issues faster.

Let me know how i can join this project and start doing the issues and development further?
