connectors are hidden behind components causes difficulties

connectors are hidden behind components which makes it difficult to sse if you have accidentally connected a connector to the wrong side of a component. Maybe they should be on top. In animation mode they could be set to go behind though.

They are on top when they are hovered, otherwise at bottom. The reason for this is that people complained that it looked ugly when they were always on top. I don't think we should change this back. It could be made into a user option though.

There should be a temporary show all connectors on top button or similar so you can toggle on-top or ordinary behaviour
